Our Therapists

Abby Stewart, LMT, MLD-C

Abby is a licensed massage therapist and owner of Yin Yang Massage & Wellness. She grew up in New Jersey, then attended the University of South Carolina where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2013. Later, she obtained her massage certificate from Chattanooga Massage Institute in 2016.

In 2017, she became certified through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder method), and later became certified in Advanced Manual Lymphatic Drainage for the Management of Post Plastic Surgery Procedures. This allows her to work with clients safely after surgeries to reduce swelling, discomfort, bruising, and stiffness. Further out from surgery, fibrosis techniques and scar tissue work are utilized for optimal recovery.

Abby’s massage therapy sessions may include cupping, gua sha, elements of tuina, lymphatic and fascial techniques, swedish massage, deep tissue, and trigger point work to create an intuitive style where therapeutic work meets relaxation. She enjoys working with a wide range of people from different backgrounds, including those who are new to bodywork, have chronic health conditions, recovering from surgeries, and those who want to prioritize their own self-care and health by becoming more in tune with their bodies. She strives to create a safe space for her clients to unwind, relax, and focus on their own healing.

Amanda Love Osborne, LMT, Reiki Master

Amanda graduated from Chattanooga State in 2012 and has been practicing massage therapy ever since. During her studies, she fell in love with the ancient healing art of Reiki. She offers quiet Reiki appointments and Reiki infused massage therapy. She is also trained in massage for TMJ dysfunction. This includes intra-oral techniques that allow her to treat and release tension in deeper muscles of the jaw. In 2025, Amanda completed CranioSacral therapy level 1 with the Upledger Institute. In addition to these specialties, she offers hot stone and prenatal massage.

Amanda is an experienced, well-rounded massage therapist. She takes time to listen to her clients so she can create a beneficial treatment designed for their specific ailments. Her sessions have a calming effect utilizing gentler techniques, yet she can also deliver what she describes as “painless deep tissue” work to soothe your tense muscles and uplift your spirit.

Outside of offering these healing modalities, Amanda enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors, hiking, walking, exercising, being around animals and nature, playing guitar, singing, and spending time with her family and loved ones.

Massage Therapy

Our experienced therapists use a variety of techniques, modalities, and styles of massage to best address your concerns. You may have a deeply relaxing, soothing experience or a more therapeutic, invigorating session depending on your preferences. We generally like a little of both; to calm the nervous system while also working through soft tissue adhesions and muscular tension.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
(Vodder)

The Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage is an advanced technique that utilizes the stretch of the skin and underlying fascia with rhythmic strokes to promote more efficient lymphatic flow. No oil is used in this method in order to grip the skin to stimulate the delicate lymphatic vessels properly. May be helpful for those with edema/swelling, lymphedema, inflammatory pain, immune system support, allergies, fibromyalgia, headaches, digestive disorders, skin disorders, and general wellness.

TMJ Dysfunction Massage

The temporomandibular joint connects the jaw to the skull, and can be an area where many people carry tension and pain. We can access the soft tissue surrounding this joint externally by massaging the face, neck, and head, but a trained therapist can also access this joint from inside the mouth. Intra-oral massage techniques, in conjunction with traditional massage therapy, may help to relieve pain and other symptoms caused by TMJ disorders, headaches, sinus issues, emotional stress, and neck/shoulder pain.

Hot Stone Massage

Warm, smooth stones are incorporated into your massage session to help relax muscles, increase circulation, ease tension, and promote a calming sense of balance and relaxation throughout the body.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique using the placement of hands and conscious guidance of the body's natural energetic field. A good service for anyone with ailments that prevent them from receiving massage therapy or are uncomfortable with touch, and for those looking for a deeper sense of relaxation. Amanda is trained in the traditional Usui method and offers standalone Reiki sessions in addition to a combination massage therapy and Reiki session.

Post-Operative Lymphatic Drainage and Scar Tissue Therapy

Common after plastic surgeries, and even orthopedic or other types of surgery, lymphatic drainage is often recommended to ease swelling, bruising, and discomfort following surgery. This can also help prevent fibrosis formation. For the first 2 weeks after surgery, gentle manual lymphatic drainage is done to the affected areas.

A few weeks out from surgery, manual lymphatic drainage is performed in addition to different techniques to manage scar tissue, stiffness, and/or fibrosis.
